Bernina University Trip Recap

Well, let's see if I can do this in 50 words or less! All I can say is WOW! First we, Pat and myself drove so we had lots of time to visit on the way. We spent the night at Pat's daughter's house in Troy, Alabama and we had a great time seeing all of Laura's new projects. She is teaching herself to quilt! Laura is going like a little
"Trojan" with her quilting, go Laura!

Next stop was in Ozark, Alabam at the Front Porch Quilt Shop. It was so much fun looking around at all the beautiful fabrics, in room after room. When we left, we both wished we had an old home for a store front. Go and visit, stay awhile, take a class or two, but I promise you will love it.

Next stop was in Montgomery, Alabama at Sew Bernina. Sorry the picture is sorta blurred. The store was very well organized and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Be sue to check them out if you are in Montgomery area.

Then we arrived about 9pm, I think, at the Grand Cypress Hotel in Orlando Florida! We were so tired that we passed out. The following pictures are a few classes at BU and some of the things from the fashion show. You will also get a sneak preview of new products from Bernina.

Ont the Road To BU

We are on our way to Orlando, Florida to the Bernina University.  A big shout out to our good friends that we visited at the Sew Bernina in Montgomery, Roy and Susan Miers. We loved their shop, it was so friendly and very very organized. The girls were so helpful and knowledgeable. If you need anything sewing or quilt wise, Bernina products or even an Artista 830E, be sure to stop in.

We stopped off in Troy, Alabama the home of the MIGHTY TROJANS! A trip down memory lane for Ms.Pat. We are spending the night at Reeves Farm, with a new quilter!! We are having fun looking at all her new quilts. More to come as we hit the road early in the AM.

Happy Sewing,
Carol
