The features are very exciting in that the InnovEye, which is a built in camera which can be used to scan anything hooped and display it on the LCD screen. See the design superimposed on the scanned image for perfect alignment and realistic viewing.
Auto resizing and stitch recalculator done almost instantly! Designs can be resized from 60% to 200% in 5% increments right in the machine. Manual control of density of designs can also be done to maximize stitch density for best fill.
Specialty bobbin work bobbin case made especially for embellishing projects that look like they were done by hand.
A new bobbin case cover for the bobbin work that has "ribs" that press down on the bobbin so that it is not lifted out when using thicker threads.
Bobbin work embroidery patterns are built into the machine, all fourteen from size 4x4 up to 8x12.
A new connected Cursive embroidery font that stitches out beautifully.
Center Scanning function takes the guess work out of deciding where to put the snowman. Now the InnnovEye will scan at the center intersection of all four quadrants.
A Grid is displayed when the InnovEye technology is enabled and can be used in either sewing or embroidery mode for more perfect alignment of the needle.
Needle magnification is now 200% .
Patterns can also be magnified to 200%.
Screen Shot Capturing function has the ability to save a camera image on the LCD so the Dealer/Technician will have the ability to view information and troubleshoot from their computer. A real bonus for customer service.
Fabric thickness sensor that is an image capturing function for detecting the highs and lows in textured fabrics, such as in quilt blocks.
Thumbnails are now 1.5 times larger for easy viewing of designs and patterns can also be magnified to 200% in the edit screen.
Continuous scrolling of designs can be done without having to go back page by page.
Improved preview and realistic views now have jump stitches removed between alphabet letters in sewing mode, satin elements and twin needle sewing appears as two lines of stitching just like it does in stitching.
And now there are more languages too.

Quattro 6000D Upgrade Kit
iBroidery Designs
Well, need I say more! My grandson loves the little cartoon "Air Bender". He will be delighted that his "Kahcoo" found these for him.
That's his name for me instead of Granny, who knew! He has discovered that I can sew costumes. Here is his mean look as a
"Teenage Mutant Ninji Turtle", now mind you this was at 9pm and little fabric. Now, I have to make Ankz (please forgive my spelling, I'm old.)
They stitch out great.
One of the companies that contributes to iBroidery Designs is Anita
Goodesign. There are regular designs as well as licensed Disney and
Pixar. You can buy 24/7 with instant design delivery to your very own computer. You can even buy designs that have been retired from
the machines and no longer available for that model. I am told that includes the "Big Mickey" from the Duetta series. There is an instant preview of a design as you draw your mouse across the design. Information shown includes all machines that the design will work with. So are you ready for the meanest looking Ninji Turtle, ever!!! Here he is Steven the .......
First Day at Brother B2B
Brother Back to School Event in Nashville, Tennessee started on August 16th and will go through August 18th. We are here at the Renaissance HOtel connecting with the Nashville Convention Center, across the street from the famous Ryman Auditorium. Last night, my husband and myself went for a walk down 2nd Ave and Broadway to Church St. by Printers Alley which is the hub of nightlife and provided a "flair of Bourbon Street". There were horse and buggy rides, honky tonks ranging from rock to jazz to country. We ate at Big River Grille and found the food to be excellant.
This morning there was excitment and anticipation wondering how long it would be before the "new machine" would be revealed. As we waited, we were greated by songwriter and preformer, who had us clapping and singing Johnny Cash at 8:30 in the morning!
Then there was the Vice President of Laura Ashley and she was most informative of all the products they market. Laura Ashley is into paint, wall paper, carpet, clothing, fabric and home dec just to mention a few. So it is no suprise that given the expertise of knowing what women want, Laura Ashley is a perfect match for partnering with Brother Sewing Machine Company. Laura Ashley stands for quality, sense and sensibility; "a touch of English in every stitch".
The best was saved for the last! Finally we doned our 3-D glasses! We all watched with eagerness as the spectacular PR1000 came alive. It was beautiful to look at, a perfect ten! First, there was a visable 10 needles, a cap hoop with 360 degrees rotation, Innoveye using the Snowman Embroidery Positioning Marker, new PE Next software for linking numerous PR machines together recognizing each unique ID number, and if that's not enough, a new larger jumbo hoop 14" x 14". Now that 's something to get excited about. Just in time for our fall seminar on November 1st and 2nd.
There will also be an Upgrade Kit for the Quattro 6000D! Can it get any better than this. If you thought the InnovEye was something, how about a new Scanning feature that lets you scan in your fabric as it is hooped (front collar and facing) and simply put your design on the garment as you see it. Are you ready for this...a recalulating of stitches automatically from 60 percent to 200 percent. There is also bobbin work case and cover with lots of bobbin work patterns and lots lots more! And we haven't even said a word of all the new features in the PE NEXT Software. It upgrades from Version 5.0-8.0.
This is only the first day! There will be lots more to report tommorrow. Right now our Brother rep Kyle Baber is treating all his Alabama dealers to a private pizza.
Oh boy, do I have an appetite...
