Thanksgiving is over and so is Black Friday, and so it begins... Christmas of course. Now that it has officially begun, due to the shopping tradition, let the merry making and Christmas cheer begin. To start the month off right, on December 5th from 10:00am until 12 noon we will have our annual Christmas Party. Last year we didn't have an evening party and some felt left out. So this year we will have a special party just for the night group. It will be the following Thursday, December 11th, at 6:00pm until 8:00pm. You may bring something sweet/salty and we will furnish everything else.
Plan to bring a Christmas ornament (some of you ambitious people will no doubt bring those beautiful OESD designs) that you made or could have made and describe how it was done. Also share your favorite snack recipe with us if you like, and any show- n -tells. There will be sales, fun and lots of laughter. Hope to see you there.
Keep Stitchin,
Carol

Off to See The Wizard.....
Yes, we are off to see the Wizard, the Bernina 830E in North Carolina. It will razzle dazzle you and cast all kind of spells on you saying, "You know you want me"! Truth is you WILL want this wonderful machine and it will be in the shop on Monday November 24th. It will be amazing to see this beautiful machine in action. Plan ahead to come and see this state of the art, sleek and oh so quiet Bernina 830 in all its glory.
Our tech, Michael, will be there to get his certified training and be ready to explain the new bobbin, the new dual feed and much much more. So if he is there, sadly this means he is not at the store. He will be back Monday.
And this brings us to the Thanksgiving Holidays. We will be closed Nov. 27th through Saturday. We will reopen on Monday, December 1st. I just want to say Happy Thanksgiving and thank you to our customers for shopping at Sew Bizz this year. I am most grateful of all for your friendships and support.
See you soon and keep stitching.

NEW Quattro 6000D is here !!!!!!!!!!!
The brand new Brother Quattro 6000D is HERE and the PE Design 8.0 as well as PE Upgrade. Paula says come and drool with us! No joke, it's beautiful and does embroidery so quiet, so magnificently, and so BIG. It has all the extra hoops, a really nice rolling bag with extra bags for thread and such. The extra products ($500 worth of Designs, etc.) will only come with a limited number of machines, so hurry in and put your name on this beautiful state of the art Brother Quattro 6000D Sewing and Embroidery Machine. Michelle and I have already layed hands on it. Joni and Millie have also stroked it! What more can I say but just come and see.
Also, tomorrow is Halloween, come dressed in your scariest costume, or bring your little one dressed and receive 20% off your total purchase of regular priced merchandise, and still get your punches on your punch card too! Spoooooky Loooooky

Products and website
We are working very hard getting all our products listed, so please be patient. Our November calendar is up and classes will start to end about the middle of the month and pick back up January 2009. The new circular ruler, The Cut A Round, is a must for the new Taylor Made Retro Apron Book. We want to do a class in November so if there is an interest let us know. It would be a perfect gift for someone that is hard to buy a present for at Christmas. Check all the apron books out on the website.
Another month of Embroidery club is over. We have had fun embroiderying our "fringe scarecrow" and making our button on patches. We had a total of 30 women enjoying this month's project. Those of you who couldn't make it this month, we have space for 42 embroidery enthusiasts - give us a call.
November Embroidery club is a freestanding lace angel. Carol and I will be sharing this month's sessions. She is teaching three or four classes and I am teaching three classes.
This will be the last club project for this year.
If you have any questions or comments - the blog is open.

New Website
Thank you for visiting our Website. We will be adding new products that you may purchase as time goes by. Thank you for your patience. With this said, hold on to your hat because you are in for a treat.
Maybe this is the first time to check us out, but we have been in business for fourteen or more years. We've been here in Trussville, Alabama since 2000. We were previously located in Centerpoint by the post office since 1994. Before that, the business was from home in Locust Fork, since 1986.
We enjoy selling both Bernina and Brother sewing machines. So let's get this out of the way early on; NO, we can not sell any Bernina sewing machines from our website. You may however, call, email or fax us questions and we will be happy to get back in touch with you. We will provide you with links so that you can browse to see the latest machines and special national promos.
We can sell some Brother machines online, but not covered product under our dealer aggreement.
We are very interested in what type sewing you do or may want to do. We
truely love sewing and want everyone that sews to know we are here for you.
On our blog you may expect to see projects for Embroidery Club, which by the way meets 3 times during the weekday, 2 night groups and even on Saturday.
We will let you know immediately when a new shipment of fabric is here. And it is here, the fall and Christmas, so hurry and come in to see them. Along, with new garments made from the new fabrics so you can see how great the fabric looks.
We also have an on site technician that can service Bernina's, Brother's, and most of all the older machines too. His turn-a-round time is good and you can even schedule an appointment. So if you are from out of town, it means a great deal if you can go shopping and pick your machine up the same day. You may even ship your machine to us for service. Just call, yes, you can even talk to our repair tech.
We will have photos, free designs to download, and updates available for machines that can be done at your home. This way you don't have to go here and there to find them. We want to make your sewing experience as easy and quick as possible. We will gladly do the leg work for you so you have more time to spend sewing!
