I'm new at this blogging, so yes it's been awhile, but I promise to try my best to stay on top of blogging.
New topics today includes new Brother products and deals, new Bernina products and deals, Appliques for Kids Trunk Show and Classes. These are just a few:
All the garments are simply beautiful. I hope you don't miss this trunk show by Joy Welsh, Appliques for Kids. All of her embroidery designs stitch out perfect and they match the fabric so well. We do have design packets, but you can also go to her website. We have most of the fabrics so you can make your very own one of a kind garment or duplicate the same garment. Hurry as this trunk show will be leaving for another part of the country soon. And there is nothing like seeing them up close.
MARY LOU NALL'S CLASS
Recently Mary Lou Nall came to the store and we had excellent participation! Mary Lou has been doing her classes for some 40 years. And, boy she really knows her stuff! She held four classes and everyone was so excited to learn about the sewing machine feet and what to do with them. Since most of you have shown an interest in learning more, we will start a new class called "Foot Notes". It will be like the classes that Mary Lou gave in that they will be lecture demo. So no need to bring a machine. It will start in May. So check it out on the events calendar.
OESD
New from OESD is the "Spring Collection" and just like the collection at Christmas, if you purchse $50, you get the embroidery disk FREE! The disk is valued at $75, and it's a variety of spring designs. Be sure to come by the store and look at the samples.
BONNIE BLUE
Bonnie Blue has two new patterns and a remake of Lauren.
Bailey Boy's Magazine
We have two new classes in May for the "look" of the popular boutique garments, one with a square collar and one with a round collar.
Cargo Pants
This coming month in May, we will offer a class using Pintucks & Petticoats, "Luke" to make this adorable pair of pants. It can be for girls and boys.
Monthly Purse Class
Last month was huge success! Everyone loved the "Swing Purse" by Am Butler. Go to the photo gallery and check out all the different looks from just one pattern. This coming month we will make the 2Hr.Tulip Purse. Hopefully, I get a picture of it so you can see how cute it is. There are four sizes on one pattern.
EMBROIDERY CLUB
Everyone loved April's class where they made the Topsey Turvy Kitchen Towel. In May there will be hands on embroidery class to learn the steps of cutwork. You can go to the events calendar to see the seven times it will be offerred.
