Updating Fabric on Sew Bizz Online Store

If you haven't checked out the web site lately, you are in for a big treat. MORE FABRIC !!! We are working hard to get all of our products on the web site so that you can just look up the new fabrics and order the amount you want. We do ask for your patience as it is very time consuming, but we are determined to get everything that is in the store on the web site.

June's classes are up on the calendar. We have several new classes, such as, Foot Notes. This is a class for Brother and Bernina feet, but could apply for most sewing machine feet.

We have several promotions going on for June. OESD has a Spring Collection available for FREE, if you shop with us and spend at least $50, a value of $75. We have a large selection of OESD and Sulky stabilizers, by the yard and by the roll.

We have a special discount on all feet during our class on Foot Notes. You will be amazed at the different uses for some of your feet.

Sew Many Designs has a new Spring collection. It is called, Song of Spring 5x7 designs. It has a cute Lady Bug that goes great with some of the new lady bug fabric.

Lots and lots of new patterns, such as Pink Fig. We have just about all of their patterns. Wendy Schoen, Dasiey May, has new packaging and is back in stock.

Hurry and come see all the new "stuff". Hope to see you soon.

Oh by the way, we are up to date on all machine repairs. There is a quick turn around at present. If you need to know how fast you can get your machine back, just call the number for the tech on the web site and he will answer. How great is that!!
Keep Stitching,
Carol

New Fabrics

We just want to take a moment to thank all of our customers that came out to see the trunk show by Joy Welsh, "Applique for Kids" with her great embroidery designs. It was neat to see all of you so excited over the garments. Most of the fabrics you saw used in these garments are now available at Sew Bizz. Hope you enjoy seeing them, but why not come in and see them up close..

These are two of the samples for the new classes which are both a knock off of the boutique fashions you see in the magazines. One has a round neck and the other is a square neck.
Go to the calendar at http://www.sewbizz.net/ to see the dates for the classes
Here is a garment made by a Michie' pattern using some of the new fabrics.
Hope to see you soon. Keep stitching,
Carol

Twitter

Twitter is new to me, but all my friends say it is a must! So today I'm, updating my website, blogger, My Space, Twitter and did I leave any out? Oh yes, Face book, which will be done shortly or NOT. Computer's are suppose to make life faster, easier but to be honest, I could have made a jacket or stitched out a design by now. I do resent computers a little but we must stay up with the times. I'm not sure what I'm doing with all this technology, but I'm having fun learning it.

Sorta like learning the first computerized sewing machine or sewing software. Ahh, now there's a challenge. Who out there remembers the first Paduca software party? Any oldie but goodies reading? Well, let me tell you we stood Japan on it's ear. Why are they meeting to play with our software, they asked? They even sent Mr.M to see and did he ever. He went home with all the buzzz! We were designing with little or no tools. By gosh it was almost as comparable as "the time we went to the moon without a computer mapping the way", well not exactly but you get the idea. And now the progress that has been made is incredible. Truly this is the information age.
